The root beer is a favorite around my house. It's better at 5-6% ABV. Smells like root beer, tastes like beer. You can taste root beer notes though. Worth making. I do it for Christmas every year. Cheers!

Thanks for the review as far as lager or ale if it needs a lower temp i just put it out in the shed.A lot of times i will use Wyeast California Lager yeast as it does ferment at a higher temp than any other lager yeast Cheers.
