Taste Notes

Has more hop nose than AB, not as harshly bitter. Good beer. I need to taste it without drinking other hoppy beers first.

Notes

This beer is a reminder of why I use a blow-off tube, it's spewing violently in to a 1gal jug of sanitizer, fermenter temp is 72F. Couldn't use the ferm chamber because I have Maple Sap in there.

Adjusted hops

I brewed this and never tried AB before. However I did get one pint and tried it. AB is a harsh bitter beer. I changed to hops a little, only had two oz of Chinook so I used my home grown leaf Nugget for early hops and dry hopped with home grown Cascade. Beer is not as dark and not as harsh, but I like it better. Alc is 7.4% Bottled it should be good in about a week.
