New to all-grain brewing. I need a dummy's explanation for making a Lee's Double Diamond clone. Anyone willing to share step by step instructions? I have only done kits before and have become to reliant on the instructions included. This has been a real blow to my ego. help.

Re Brewdog Jackhammer question - yes, same as a 0min hop addition. I take off the boil and then add the hops for 60m off heat before removing. The idea is to capture as much hop essence as possible. The recipe is good but it still needs adapting.

I checked everything out. All the times are there if you download the recipe into beersmith. Let me know what you think after you make it. I added 1oz of Raspberry Extract into the keg before I carbonated it. That was not in the recipe. This was one of my favorite recipes I made this year. Everyone who tried it, loved it. This recipe is now in my commercial brew folder to be made some time late this year....once the brewery has officially opened!

Hey, wondering if you had a certain step by step for this one. Did a 1/2 version of the recipe last night. When is your fermentation usually done and than how long usually before you bottle? Also, how long do you wait fir conditioning?

I diluted the Hefe Weizen recipe below using 2000ml of boiled, cooled distilled water in each 5gal fermenter to bring the OG to 1.055. I included this info in the notes but didn't see it in the posted recipe. I do a single decoction but it can be done as a step mash if you don't wish to decoct. Even a single infusion at 150F. I have won several metals in different competitions.
