Question for you please. Your American Honey Pale Ale sounds amazing, but I want to get the ABV down from 8 to around 6 or 5. Would that be possible?

For sure. I am actually working on a brew that should come in around 6%. I am planning to mash at a higher temp (maybe 156F) to produce a less fermentable wort. Also, I am going to try cutting the honey addition to maybe 8oz. Another option could also include cutting the base malts by a pound or 2. Good luck Stork.

Hey Stork. I am brewing a modified version of the honey pale ale, making it an amber. Check it out here. http://beersmithrecipes.com/viewrecipe/13150/2-ag-american-honey-amber-ale- Also it would be great if you could rate the American Honey Pale Ale here... http://beersmithrecipes.com/viewrecipe/3898/1-ag-american-honey-pale-ale
