The citra at the shop was full of citrus (which is what I like). Since there isn't much bittering hops the beer is much lower on bitterness than an IPA (as expected since it is a blonde recipe), but still has all the aroma and taste of a great IPA. By far one of my favorites! I don't know if you get your ingredients locally, but my shop will always open a hops packet for me to smell and their grain is all loose so I can taste before I buy. I am now in love with Citra (and a couple New Zealand varieties they just starting stocking.

How does dry hopped citra compare to other hops? (cascade, Amarillo). I was going to try it on my next pale ale recipe but would be nice to know what to expect. You can't always believe what the marketing guys say in catalogs about brewing ingredients.
