Don't let the name scare you... This creation derived from frugality! My brother was going over seas for work and brought me everything he had and said, I can't use it. The ingredients were already fairly old and the choice was either "Throw it all away" or "Brew with it". I decided to use as much of everything he gave me as I could to make 1 strong beer. Garbage Bag Porter was the result.
It's a thick heavy porter that drinks like a barleywine! Surprisingly smooth, malty, caramel, chocolate, etc... all the goodness from a good porter only BIGGER.
This beer has become folklore around the house because I haven't rebrewed it and the stories about it get bigger and more far fecthed! quit frankly I want to to a 10gal all-grain version, but the grain bill is going to be big! I hope I can rebrew it and keep up with the hype!
