Wow - I like this one !
by iandownhamOnly my third extract brew and I'm so glad I tried this recipe. Came out at 7.5% abv. Substituted Sterling hops for Saaz as I'm in the UK and didn't have any Sterling to hand. Also think I might have made a mistake with the yeast , ended up using Wyeast #1762 (Belgian Abbey II) as I had some in. Think I should have used #3522 (Belgian Ardennes) or the original recipe yeast.
Even so, really tasty drop....recommended.
This is my friends favorite beer. He's sure to have it on tap anytime I stop by the house. Just brewed it myself recently and turned out really well.
