I edited the recipe, by rounding the grain, and dropping some 2-row to get it down to 4.8% ABV (estimated), and IBU's upto 17. We may want to add a flavoring hop addition. BJCP has IBU's for this style between 15 and 50, so 17 is still a little on the low end. It's rev 2 on my cloud.

The ABV is still a little high. Can we round down all the malts to whole pounds and see what happens? 19,14, and 2?

No prep for the honey. Make sure there are no preservatives in the honey. It may not ferment. Other than that, you got it.

How did your brew session turn out? Active fermentation yet?

I forgot to let you know the beer turned out so good! We hit the OG closer than we have any other recipe. We will be making this again. Next we want to make a Yuengling clone but we cannot do a lager yet. Don’t have a way to keep it cool enough during fermentation.

Hey Dornaf22... I add the honey during the last 10-15 minutes of the boil. If you add it too early, the honey aroma will boil off. If you add it too late, any impurities in the honey may not be neutralized. Whatever you do, do not use it in place of the priming sugar or in addition to the priming sugar. If you're bottling, use the right amount of priming sugar or you'll run into all kinds of issues.

Thank-you so much !! So be sure I have this correct, add the honey to last 15 minutes of boil and also use the priming sugar at bottling. Do I need to do any prep on the honey before adding to the wort??

Hello There,
Just curious how the Key Lime Pie Gose turned out. Looks like a solid recipe and I'd like to give it go. Any additional thoughts or changes you would make.
Thanks,

hi! Just about to do your white IPA recipe and have a coupler of questions. do I add the dextrose at the mash or the boil, or when I put it in the fermenter? also, it says 7 days for the lemongrass and sage - I am guessing that means to just leave it in for 7 days then remove it. thanks :-)
