This is our go to stout
by monkey820Whenever the club asks us to brew a beer for an event, this is the one they ask my buddy and I to do. Not overly sweet, but plenty of roasty, chocolaty goodness. If you really want to impress, cold steep the dark grains, and add them at the last ten minutes of the boil. Really shows the dark flavors, without the bitterness or astringency. Works well with Safale-04 as well.
