Taste Notes
American yeast slurry in Dianna's batch. Both batches just over 5 gallons. I pitched Ringwood Ale yeast and half jar of American Ale yeast 1056. No starter, smacked pack 7-8 hours prior to pitching. Aerated with pump.Notes
From Sam Calagione's 'Extreme Brewing' pg. 142
"This is a stealth beer and its higher alcohol levels are well masked by a fair amount of body. Indian Brown Ale has the color of an American Brown Ale, the hopping rate of an IPA, and the caramel sweetness of a Scotch Ale." WY1056 in Dianna's batch. Ringwood in my batch. .5oz of Falconer's Flight hops.
Sounds like a winner.
