Taste Notes
Very clear & light in color. Tasty although jury is still out on Tettnang hops. Took over an hour to chill to pitching temperature. Steeped hops over extended period of time adds IBUs not desired. Adjust hop addition or change equipment profile to improve taste. IBUs too high for style & for my wife. 5.1% ABV.Notes
Brewing on 11-10-13. Moved to freezer @50 deg. Gravity was high after primary (1.018) unlike ale brewing and was concerned about maltiness. 11-24-13. Ramping up temp for d-rest. After d-rest gravity was almost on target (1.011). Doubtful to achieve target of (1.008) due to thermometer issue during mashing (temp got too high @ mash out). Transferred to keg for secondary on 11-27-13. FG-1.011 @ 35 degrees 5.1% ABV.
Brewed on 8/30/2015 - Perfect, dont change a thing
