Notes

Uncrushed chocolate malt cold steeped in 0.5 litres of water over night. Boil for 10 mins. Add directly to fermenter untill desired colour has been achieved. Brew comments. Water pH 6,5 Brown Sugar, Light == Dan Sukker, Light Brown Muscovado Had a hard time keeping the temperature at 75 for the sparge, it was more like 70, kept adding boiling water to get it up. Mash pH 5.5-5.7, ok, but not good. End of running gravity 1.023 Pre boil gravity 1.040 Post boil gravity 1.054 Post boild vol 15 l Top up 4.5 l OG 1.046 FG 1.011 Verry good folculation of yeast.
