Taste Notes

Pre fermentation: perfect balance of sweet and bitter, earthy tones

Notes

First brewed hit 1.104, boiled too much off. 2 gals in 90 mins 2nd: added 2.5 oz toasted oats for shits and giggles -added .5 oz of bittering hops for total of 2 oz for 11 gals -SG: 1.074 3rd: need to try DEBITTERED chocolate malt and add CaraPils for head retention - did not have debittered chocolate malt - added 2 oz chinook first wort boil - screwed up and added aroma hops at 15 mins instead of 1 -fermentation stalled at 1.030, smells oxidized. Not sure what happened ***Experiment: Belgian yeast***
