Taste Notes

Stop sparging at 1.010 or higher gravity. Won't need all the calculated sparge water. Top up if necessary with water to reach desired pre-boil volume of approximately 11.5 gallons. Hop oils for dry hopping split between two kegs. added at kegging. Cascade oil would also be good, some would say better but I was going for a softer nose and unique aromas to set this beer apart. Turned out excellent. crowd emptied both kegs. Even the ladies liked it so not too bitter. Hop oils give great aroma and flavor without added perception of bitterness. Falconers flight flavor exceedingly good. Chico dry yeast is excellent but I would like to try this with liquid english ale next time.
