Did 3 kettles @90deg and 2 @ 80deg C, it ended up about 78deg, but when I added the grain it went dwn to about 69deg - so ever so slightly too hot
This started off as the YMB recipe and but I wanted to make it a bit different (the last is quite light so I darkened it) and to use the Bramling Cross hops I bought.) For the latter I was inspired by this recipe here...
http://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=250165All goes to plan, nice red colour at the end. 1043@24deg, so 1042 adjusted and just over 8 litres of juice - so adding 0.75 litres of water for an esitmated final gravity of 1038.
Adding half a packet of Safale US05, for a change.
Tastin' quite nicely.

Bottlin' day!
Ended up at 1009 @ 20.5 degC, so should be 4.3% ABV, so a fair bit stronger than estimated. Hmm, should have kep the faith and diluted down to 10l
Tastin... OK, little thin? NIce red colour thoughThis Recipe Has Not Been Rated
