19/03/2015 Did 3 kettles @90deg and 2 @ 80deg C, it ended up about 75deg, but when I added the grain it went dwn to about 68deg - so a bob on! Sparged it off to about 11 litres, now on the boil - have I added enough hops? Doesn't look like that many. Let's see how it goes After the boil ended up with about 8.75litres @ 1040 @ 25deg, which is still 1041 adjusted, so added 0.75 litres to bring it to the 9.5. So the final strength should be 1038. (The last beer ended up a little so diluting it slightly less this time) Added the other half of a packet of Mangrove Jacks M07 British Ale Yeast. Tasted mmmmm.
