Extremely Cidery Taste
by jcpilotakNow I'm not sure if it was just me, and some bad luck, but I followed this recipe and it didn't come out like I was hoping. It taste very cidery. After doing some research, I learned that cidery off flavors can be cause by highly refined sugar (i.e. Brown Sugar, Light). I think this was the reason, and so I'm not really please with this recipe.
Great American Brown
by semeryJust tasted for the first time this weekend. After 7 weeks, very good taste. Right balance of malt and hops.
