03/07/15 - subbed CaraAroma for C45 and added 1/2 pound more Two-Row to match the 2010 PTE recipe in Zymurgy. All Chinook in the boil + flameout. AAU is exactly the same as Zymurgy. Ground the shit out of the grains w/the Corona mill gapped tight. 2 ounces of Amarillo, Cascade, Chinook, and Simcoe at 7 and again at 14 days.

I'd consider allowing the hops to steep hot (just put a lid on after you kill the flame). Russian River does a hot whirlpool, and those 0 minute hops are added then, so the hops do see some 200*+ temps for anywhere from 10-25minutes before they chill. - Vinnie Cilurzo

This is the 2010 Zymurgy PTE recipe brewed with Arrogant Bastard's CaraAroma and Chinook. The AAU's match the PTE recipe and is 3.4 SRM darker with CaraAroma vs. C40.
