Notes

To celebrate National George Washingon Carver Day, and the greatest invention of all time, January's Big Brew will be a Peanut Butter Brown Ale. Maris Otter gives this a wonderful toasty, bready flavor, darkened to a medium brown with Caramel 80, Brown malt, Carafa II, and Chocolate Rye. Powdered peanut butter (PB2) is added in the boil, creating a magnificent Peanut Butter Sandwich flavored wort. Finally, this wort is fermented with Munich Wheat Beer Yeast, giving off those estery banana flavors we love in our wheat beers. What you get is a delicious Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich Brew! For the ultimate Peanut Butter Brew experience, chase your swig of PB Brown with a spoonful of jelly. That's a meal and drinks all in one! THANKS GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER!!!
