Notes
Made 2.5c starter with yeast while 4 gallons of Sunrise Orchards Apple Cider (from Gays Mills, WI) was getting to temp. 100% Cider with no Preservatives added. Not from concentrate. Bought from Whole Foods.
Tossed starter 13 hours from start into 65 degeee cider in fermemter.
Added 3.5 gallons of fermented cider into keg along with one gallon of cider, bought from Jewel, and 20oz of Sour Cherry Syrup, bought from Butera (Adriatic brand). This brought the total volume to 5 gallons, a full keg.
FG of fermented cider only was 1.002 and very dry. FG of kegged batch was 1.017. Tasted great and looking forward to it carbonated. This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
