Notes

3 lbs or butternut squash - cut into cunks and baked for 30 min with brown sugar. fermentation took off in under 4 hours. strong for the first 4 days then mellowed out. karusen did not reach blow-off tube. flocculation was not bad, less than 2 weeks. drack brown specs of protien? or something were left floating on top when racked to secondary after 3 weeks. gravity at 1.014 at that point. basement temp set to 68 degree for the first 3 weeks while in primary color is nice strong brown. somewhat lighter in the tubing but should look similar to newcastle. no bubling in secondary that i noticed
