Notes
Brew day 3/2/325. Did NOT adjust malt bill until after mash (changed from 8# to 10# of maris and pale for next time). Still took sparge slowly to maximize gravity. 1.063 at beginning of wort transfer. 1.035 & 18.5 gallons at beginning of boil. End of boil 15.5 gallons, 1.043. Added 2# dark Belgian Candi Sugar to get gravity up to 1.049. 14.25 gallons. FG 1.011. Kegged 3/6/25. 3 kegs. 13.173631 gallons. 1.076369 gallons lost.
Brew day 10/31/24. Looked at recipe after mash completed and grain bill was a little low to hit 5% at 15 gallons. Took the transfer/parge slowly to see if efficiency could be increased. OG 1.047. 15 gallons. This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
