Here is the AG version, I can post the extract version tonight if you need it. It really did come out tasty with nice malt character and lager like.
5.00 lb Pale Ale Malt 2-Row
4.50 lb Munich 10L (Briess)
1.00 lb Caramel Malt - 10L
0.50 lb Biscuit Malt
0.69 oz Mt. Hood [6.00 %] (120 min)
1.38 oz Strisslespalt [1.60 %] (120 min)
0.33 oz Santiam [5.10 %] (Dry Hop 3 days) Hops
0.50 oz Santiam [5.10 %] (5 min) (Aroma Hop-Steep)
German Ale/Kolsch (White Labs #WLP029)
According to Charlie from one of his books, this was the Killian's Red before Coors diluted it for the mass market. It does not taste like the Killians you get at the store and I do not know if it tastes like it did back in the day. I do know it is tasty.
edit: The book is Microbrewed Adventures, it has the extract version in it as well. This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
