Notes
I really like Liberty's Yakima Scarlet, and red IPAs as a style in general. This is nothing like that, but the idea of making a big red IPA seemed just right. I found a malt bill for an Imperial IPA online, made it a bit redder, then chose a bunch of hops, partly from what was hanging around in the freezer.
This is the first time I've tried to brew a beer this big. Fingers crossed.
