Notes

I really like Liberty's Yakima Scarlet, and red IPAs as a style in general. This is nothing like that, but the idea of making a big red IPA seemed just right. I found a malt bill for an Imperial IPA online, made it a bit redder, then chose a bunch of hops, partly from what was hanging around in the freezer. This is the first time I've tried to brew a beer this big. Fingers crossed. The beer is named after libresolv(3LIB), a library for creating, sending, and interpreting packets to the Internet domain name servers.
