Taste Notes

04/06/2024 Dark Mahogany color with some red hue tints, nutmeg aroma with ginger root as well, dense Tan colored head with good retention , getting black licorice flavor and some dark bakers chocolate notes as beer warms up, when cold get a fair amount of hop bitterness but when warmed hop bitterness fades and allows malt character to come forward, nutmeg character fairly prominent as beer warms, ginger root notes on finish, some burnt coffee flavor lingers on finish likely due roasted barley used,
