Notes

Add maple and honey at last 5 minutes of boil. 5/2/2014-brewed. final volume right about 10.5 gallons. Hit OG of 1080. added simple sugars with 5 minutes left, then did 10 minute whirlpool. All hops in middle. chilled to 68. Pitched half with London ESB and other with West Yorkshire. No starter, just smack pack. 5/23/14-bottled with 3.5oz of dextrose per 5 gallons. Hit FG of 1018 on both yeasts. WY yeast tasted roastier and ESB smoother and more maple came out.
