Everything was spot on until Sparge 1, which didn't want to come out. At all. Had to diassemble tap and free up the stuck mash by poking a cable tie in! This didn't help much as it was then obvious the filter had dropped off inside the tun. :(
Ended up catching the two sparges in a big jug (with a shit load of grain) and then running that through a sieve into an FV prior to boiling. OG was 1.058 against a target of 1.053, and volume was a couple of litres short.
Off to get a new mash tun tomorrow with a more reliable tap and filter...
