Taste Notes

Of coure the hazieness is at issue. Also judges found a slight astringency. Another mentioned huskiness and oxidation. Commented that the beer might be a little old.
Happy Holidays 32
Of course hazy. Also noted some muddled flavors. Both mentioned a lot of oxidation.
Midwinter: 34
Oddly didn't mention the haze. Grand master said it lacked the 'steely' lager character. Both remarked that is was fine but generally neutral. Both said it was missing malt character.
Americas Finest City 28.3
Also mentioned oxidation, one judge commented that there were roasted notes that are not to style. Almost nothing from the second judge other than remarking on the haze and that some more malt complexity would be nice.
Overall, I think we need to completely rethink this beer. Eliminate the roasted barley for color accentuate hops.
