Taste Notes

Pitch onto yeast cake from #145 Koelsch. Add dark grains late in mash.

Notes

35L RO + 4L filtered tap water Salts added to achieve Sulphate/Chloride Ration of 0.5 (Very Malty) OTHERWISE: Single step at 68 deg. Transfer 28L to boil kettle Boil for 60mins. Drop onto Koelsch yeastcake for clean lager-like fermentation - mainly at 14 degrees.
