Taste Notes
Brilliant - rich malt, sweet, rich. Sticky.
Very acceptable and in balance, this one wont last long...Notes
Mash pH strangely low - 5.0 - used CaSO4 10g in mash - must get water analysis table
Tweaked mash temp from 65C at 40min - overshot to 77C. To compensate let mash run extra 15 min
Malt crush quite fine, continuous circulation - no stuck mash so OK?
Yeast starter 2nd Generation from British Ale - frozen in gelatine technique, 3 day starter prep - 2 stages
Quite a thin mash - seems OK - tun at capacity however.
very good
