ph meter not working possible ph reading 5.2 first runnings 1.048 added 5 oz corn sugar 1.053 added another 5 oz corn sugar at beginning of boil pre volume 6.5 gals pre-boil 1.059 after 10 oz corn sugar post boil 5.75 gallons 1.065 final gravity 1.012 abv 7.0% Secondary soak 2 oz oak chips for 2 days in 1 cup of whiskey and then add to fermenter. Leave for another 3-4 weeks and then taste. If not enough oak flavor wait more time.
