Taste Notes

Homebrewtah: 36 Comments mentioned that it was perhaps too dark and too sweet. Consider removing honey malt. Midwinter Fest: 26 Possibly a bad bottle. Both mentioned very high sweetness and red apple pear fruit. Moderate to low bitterness. One mentioned oxydation. May also be past it’s ‘Best By’ date so to speak. KC Beirmeisters: 29 Also mentioned apple flavor but pointed more at acetladylde. Average Score: 30.33 Ideas for next time. -Leave out honey malt -Boost bitterness by 10 IBUs -Lager on Yeast Cake -Watch oxidation -Enter within a few months.
