Taste Notes

Single crushed the grains @ .4 Left it the fuck alone for 75 minutes, mash at 65c afterwards Mash efficiency = 66%, way LOW on pbg, no clue why, was way off last time too and both had WW but not enough in this batch i dont think, will test WW No boil, raised from mash temp to 185 slowly at Med heat with lid on and pump running, held there for 15 minutes at low heat with lid off and pump running Dropped temp to 175, added big hop bag and 2 oz each Cashmere and Idaho 7 for 30 minutes. Pump running, heat on low. Jostle bag every ~5 mins Transferred .5g of trub in order to get up to 5.5g in the fermentor


PBG:1.045 OG:1.046 FG:1.010 Mash Efficiency: 66% LOW (white wheat? need to do test) Brewhouse Efficiency: 54.5% Attenuation: 77.6% ABV : 4.7% TBC Day 0:(Sun-J12) Pitch 2 packs Gen 1 1318 London III at 5pm OG 1.046 set temp at 20c in kegerator fridge with heat belt on the inkbird Day 3:(We-J15) 7am Gravity 1.012/14, turn up to 22c to finish Day 4:(Th-J16) 10:30pm Gravity 1.012/14, Turn temp down to 15c Day 5:(Fr-J17) 7am Add 4oz dry hops in through top hole using co2 blown hops in 8oz hop can (worked pretty good) then turn back up to 20c hoping to help blow off oxygen Day 6:(Sa-J18) krausen kicked back up, turned down to 16 to minimize it but didn’t help much so starting cold crash early Day 11:(We-J22) 8:30 FG: 1.010, closed transfer to keg, force carb ~35psi for 17 hours Day 12:(Th-J23) 1:30pm Drop down to 12psi Day 18:(Th-J30) Carbed and drinkable? Day xx:(xx-Jxx) Kicked the keg
