Taste Notes

Pumpkin, oak and spice flavor too weak but noticeable. Extend oak from 2 weeks to 28 days. Doubled pumpkin and brown sugar. Switched to pumpkin pie spice and cloves at end of boil.

Notes

Soak 2 oz of Medium Toast French Oak Cubes in Honey (3 weeks prior) Pre-Brew: Roast (3) 29oz cans of pumpkin purée & brown sugar (2.0 cups) for 60 minutes at 350 degrees (stir @30min). Add to the Mash Tun End of boil: 2 Tbsp of Pumpkin pie spice 1/2 tsp of Clove
