9 gallon batch brewed in 5 gallon tun, 10 gallon kettle with dilution in fermenter. 9 gallon recipe is max that can be mashed in 5 gallon tun with at least 1 qt/lb water/grist ratio. Thinking thick mash requires extra time, extra enzymes. Hoping a thoroughly stirred batch sparging regimen will help extract efficiency. Enzymes in fermenter should correct any low attenuation problems.
Much higher OG than expected (1.050) at estimated full volume in fermenter. Lost marked brew spoon, so volume wasn't known.This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
