Taste Notes

v. 1.0 was made under Rye So Pale. v.2 brownish in color, dark.

Notes

came out very dark in color (like) but wasn't nearly hoppy enough to be considered an IPA. increased hops amount for 2.0 Timber Cruiser IPA. added 2oz newport hops. upped roasted barley from 8oz to 1lb. v2 increased grain bill. added 2lbs of 6row pale and doubled the chocolate mailt and roasted barley from 1lb to 2lb each. reduced rye malt from 4lbs to 2lbs. caramel and dark munich malt each increased from 3lbs to 4lbs dry hopping makes a mess in the keg by clogging pick up tube(maybe purchase dry hop rocket tube) going with 4oz of cascade from 2 and cut out the centennial all together.. grain bill overall is at 24lbs up from 22lbs. - 12-2-13 JB
