Taste Notes

Very nice pumpkin flavor with sweet aftertaste. Next time will increase spice.

Notes

Cut 2 baking pumpkins into pieces and covered in brown sugar. Baked @350 for 2 hours. Pureed and added water to get smooth consistency. Added directly to mash. Next brew session will use .5 lbs of rice hulls. Had a slow sparge.

Pumpkin Ale

This is a great pumpkin Ale that has sweet notes on back end. A great beer that people that don't like beer will like, and they can definitely identify the pumpkin.
