The beer is sweet. And the color is rather pale. Figure out how to change the coloring to a richer yellow.
March 11, 2020 V 2
Subbed East Kent Goldings for Willimette
Added 1.80 Lbs of Crystal 75 to add color
December 2020
Need a supply of Willimette hops for this brew. Am subbing all over the place.
I will sub 1.5lbs of two row for the 1.5lbs of Flaked Corn I am short.
I will attempt to use the hops utilization feature to get a better handle on hop flavors. I am beginning to believe my beer all tastes alike because of degradation of hops. Maybe buying bulk hops is not the best idea.
Today, 12/5 I asked about hop utilizayion on BS.
12/5/20 V2.1 downloaded. That is most recent used version.
Trying to figure out where the calculation is for 1.25 water to 1lb of grain
Future brew notes:
From now on fill conical to 11.25 gallons. Make certain there is a sanitized carboy to take acess wort.
Need to set Water/grain ratio and check it before brewing.
Take laptop to brewery and use session sheet during brewing process.
3/21/21 - Version moved to 2.3. Mash and water ratios better defined. Also, new water profile set. This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
