Taste Notes

dark orange/muddy color with a thick white meringuey head aroma is citrus, grapefruit, lemon cleaner, flavor is still hot, a little sour citrus, lingering bitterness mouthfeel is oily, little dextriny with a crisp carbonation

Notes

sorta based on dconns rye recipe, with whatever hops i had on hand, similar to ruthless rye (citra, chinook) didnt get enough water into the pot, probably 5.25 gallons not much boilover, just a little foam at the start before the fermcap got 4.25 into the fermenter, bubbling well next morning dryhopped 6/4 i think bottled to 36x12oz and 2x16oz on 6/21 probably should try some less fruity hops next time, really didnt show the rye character very much, could really just be a double ipa with some rye, which is common
