Taste Notes
Prefer this over all previous pilsners I have made - so maybe the yeast made a difference? This is odd as I used an Ale yeast not a lager yeast. Fermented at 12C then cold crashed
Really good flavour and head retention
Notes
Simple recipe to use Pilsener malt I had in stock.
9kg Pils malt, plus 500 g Carapils for head and foam.
Into 2 settling cubes

Pitched second cube with US05
23 L into fermenter
Fermented at 15C
Great taste, simple recipe
