Taste Notes

This batch is intended for sipping during cold rainy days or nights with a good, robust cigar. 3/25/21 - Couldn’t wait any longer, cracked a bottle open today. Very good beer, great color and head, but not as robust as I was expecting. Think it needs more peat smoked malt character and higher ABV next time I brew it. Definitely worth repeating.

Notes

Matched my local water chemistry (approximately) to that of Edinburg Scotland. Wee Heavy Strong Scottish Ale, long term bottle aging is recommended for best results if possible.

Great tasting beer, not as robust as I was expecting. Need to ramp-up the peat smoked character and ABV level to make it exceptional.
