Notes

6/21/17 Made 3L starter, will decant 1L for next beer prior to pitching. Took a while to get mash down to temp. Water and mash tun were at 168 at dough in, but stayed at 158-156 until water added, stirred and recirculated. Left it at 152 for 90 min. Heated sparge water to 180° but still not hot enough, down to 150 in mash tun after transfere. Trouble with boil running out of gas, but managed to boil for an hour in fits. Used hop contraption, and worked well, but don't remove until later so it drains more. Flame out hop in Stainles ball. Blichman chill worked well, wort down to 65°, and still had some water left. Bottled 7/10/17 48 12 oz bottles,
