10/7/2017 Make 3 L starter. Started starter about 14:30 Use 2 L for beer, and 1 L for priming. 10/9/17 Decanted 1L starter to quart jar and refrigerated remainder of starter. Mashed about 5lbs of baked pumpkin with sprinkled pumpkin spice. Mashed in at about 150-152 for 90 min, Boiled for 1.75 hours, added 1tsp pumpkin spice with 1 min boil. 9 gal pre boil, 5 gal post boil. Specific Gravity by refract - 1.087, by hydrometer -1.092. Final Gravity 1024. Bottled 10/24/17, 4.4 Gal. Added 1.5 table spoons of pumpkin spice at bottling but it floated on the top. Next time add more during the boil.This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
