Notes

1/19/19 10:50, 4L Starter with 2 packs WLP001. 1/21/19 Refrigerated Starter. Use 6 gal Distilled water for Mash, and 2 for Sparge. Boiled a little too long, because I thought boil off was not enough. After shrinkedge ended up with less than 10 gal wort. Messed up final hop additions. First were too early, last two too late. Cooled wort too much, to 63°. heated up to 66° before pitching yeast. Apparently a vigorous fermentation caused a blowout while i was away. This may have lead to O2 and other contamination breach because airlock was dry. 2/20/19 Don't tell anyone but I did scoop out a little mold from the first keg. Filled two kegs minus about a half gal. Higher than expected alcohol level. Will carbonate on 2/21/19. 2/21/19 Carbonated both kegs.
