Notes 9-14-14 Grain - 3 lbs 11 oz of Belgium pale malt and 27 lbs Rahr 2 row pale malt. Initial mash temp was 130 instead of 122. 2 vials of Dusseldorf And 2 vials of German Ale blended. Created new Fermentation category for Beer Smith FermentationTable titled - American Amber 9-10-14 Transferred on 9/24/14 Pre 9-10-14 Notes Multi-Step Mash: - 122 degrees - 20 min - 149 degrees - 30 min - 158 degrees - 30 min Fermentation: - Prmary: 10-14 days at 55 degrees - 66 degrees - Secondary: 15 - 30 days at 40 degrees - Dry hop in last 7 days of secondary fermentor with 2 oz Herzbrucker Bottling: - DME for priming sugar 5.5 oz - at least 2 weeks bottle conditionig
