Notes

Brewday was smooth. Mash temp avgd around 153.5F. Slow Sparge, temp of sparge water was low, 160f, water cooled while sparging. Mashout temp was low, 158f. Lots of water left in the mash basket, sacrificed some effeciency to have the right volume. Timer stopped, but hops were in for approx 80 minutes like the recipe calleds for. 3 naval oranges peeled with a potato peeler. Netted approx 1.25 oz of fresh orange peel, no pith. In for exactly 5 minutes, basket was jossled up and down a couple times. Chiller got wort to 79f. Volumes were almost perfect. 5.3 gal in brewers edge nets 5.65 gal in fermenter.
