Mash-In water @ 168.5. Added grain, temp dropped to 157.0F. Started timer. Grain was still at 155F after 1+17. WMashed for approx 1+17 and added Mash-Out water at approx 191F. Rested for 10 mins, and sparged with water at approx 174F. Sparged off 7.0 gallons and had a BRIX reading of 10.0 (approx 1.040). Boiled for 60 mins, but checked the Gravity at approx 10 mins and added a cup of Breiss Light DME and another cup at 5 mins to achieve an end-boil BRIX reading of approximately 12.
Irish Blonde
by Mbonn89One doesn't think of a blonde beer being from Ireland, thus I named it for a lost lass. Dizzy Lizzy is a smooth light Ale that is quite refreshing. It is a beginner beer but it is the first in the series of this beer. Evil Twin and Sweet Sister were born from this beer (DL Series). Drink and enjoy.
