This recipe was published in the 2020 April/ May issue of Beer & Brewing and I brewed it mid of June. I used genuine English malts, only thing I changed was the yeast as I did another brew before with WLP005. The beer is nice shortly after brewing as Josh says but, in my opinion, it improves a lot over time. Now, some twelve weeks later, it is amazing! It reminds me of peaty Whisky. The taste of malt is dominating but due to the well-balanced bitterness it is still refreshing, the 2 volumes of CO2 should not be reduced. It demonstrates that tasty beers do not need a high level of alcohol. Highly recommended!
