Taste Notes

Notes

Conditioned grain about 4 hours before. Finished sparge into boil kettle and got an extra gallon. Efficiency was low. Need to adjust the efficiency expected in BS2.0 to maybe 70%. Stopped after sparging to go to dinner. Set heat to low and kept it at 140-150 for 2 hours. Boiled hard for 75 minutes. I conoditioned the grain before milling with 3 oz of water sprayed onto the grain. Milled at .032 gap maintained 156 pretty good for the Mash Mash out was 162 rather than 168. sparged with 180 deg water boiled for 75 mins to try to get volume down. Fermentation Schedule 68F Bottled 56 bottles on 11/18/2012.
