Notes

You can substitute Melanoiden for Dark Munich 20L. You can also substitute a bittering hop like Horizon instead of the Cascade at the 90 minute addition. Just make sure to target the same IBU:GU ratio. This recipe is really good with Wyeast 1187 Ringwood Ale Yeast which gives it a pleasant English stout character. But since Ringwood is often hard to come by Imperial Darkness A10 is the next best option and gives it a rich, Guiness-like character.
